We were going to the store the other day. We must have been feeling brave, 'cause all of us were in the car.
No. We were going to Grandma and Grandpa's for a Memorial Day get together. That's why we were all in the car. But we had to go to the store, before we left. Anyway, we were driving down the street and saw a kid trying to break into what I assume was his car (it was in a driveway with two other kids watching and the garage door was up. Maybe he was just a really ballsy thief). The driver's side window must have been down a bit, because he was using a hanger to try to release the lock. Apparently nobody told him that traditionally, one uses a wire hanger, unbent and with a little hook on the end or whatever it takes to operate the lock. He was using one of those tubular plastic hangers, holding each end by his fingers, with the hook dangling mid-window.
I didn't have the heart to stop and tell him.
