is google becoming the next microsoft

All I wanted to do was to leave a comment on Theresa's blog. Google said that they couldn't accept anonymous comments, and that I had to register. So I go to register, and it asks me what I want to name my new blog. I didn't want a new blog! I just wanted to leave a comment! And why do I have to name my blog!
